Canary Islands Day
Canary Islands Day on 30 May commemorates the first session of the Parliament of the Canary Islands in 1983.

After the 1982 Statute, Parliament first sat on 30 May 1983; the day was adopted as Día de Canarias and later fixed as a regional public holiday.
